Meet our Team
About UsWe are change makers. We are a group of grade six and seven students who want to make an impact on the way we treat our planet. Our goal is to encourage worldwide awareness and spread kindness. Instead of traditional rote learning, our class has incorporated service learning into the skills and content required by the ministry through project based education. |
About UsThis project would've been impossible without the help of our teacher supporter, Ms. Reynolds.
Ms. Reynolds is a motivated passionate and caring teacher who believes that all students are capable of success if they are provided with a rich learning environment and have adequate support. |

RECYCLE!
Plastic right now is unavoidable, and in some cases essential, but once we’ve finished with it, make sure you recycle it, that way it can be re-used and stop new plastic entering the system. |
SPREAD AWARENESS! You don’t have to make films or give lectures, just tell a friend who doesn’t go to the beach about how big the issue is becoming, you wont believe how many millions of people have no idea we even have a plastic problem. |
REFUSE SINGLE USE PLASTIC! Takeaway coffee cups, straws, water bottles, sauce sachets and redundant packaging on food, there are alternatives to them all, so get organised and stop buying single use. Consumer power is the most important factor in changing plastic use. |
